PostSubject: Dog Poo   26/7/2007, 4:19 am

why don't some dog owners pick up after their pets?????

when i had my Rottie, i wouldnt dream of leaving her poop for someone else to step in, or worse for a child to fall over into....

its disgusting . i know there are fines for this sort of thing but if someone walks their dog at night, who is gonna see it?

does this drive u crazy?????????

good for you... i have done that too when i have been walking my dog.. saw some silly woman let her greyhound poo on a kids palying area and walk off... so i yelled at her to come back and clear it up... she said she had forgotten to bring anything so i handed her a nappy bag and watched while she did it... shamefaced she was too!

I clean my dogs poop up when I'm walking him, but what about cat shit? It contains much worse stuff than dog shit does, plus smells absolutely disgusting and you don't hear anyone screaming about cat owners letting their fookin moggies wander all day...peeing up doorframes, scratching up bedding plants and crapping all over their neighbours gardens. Don't forget, we all survived despite stepping or falling in dog/cat shit when we were kids and only the loonies picked up their dog's shite back then. People keep pets, inadvertantly finding their crap around the neighbourhood is inevitable. I'd never start yelling at someone for not cleaning up after their dog or cat.

It's the modern way I'm afraid. people these days are just inherently lazy, no respect for others and more interested in showing their street cred by disregarding politeness and behaving as a modern day schoolkid.

either that or its from one of the many hunderds of abandoned dogs that we are currently awash with

can you believe.. a woman who bought one of my houses just down the road from my office, was walking her dog last week.... pushing her new baby in his pram.
The dog ran onto a pice of land just planted up by the council, OUTSIDE a childrens play area, did its business and she just walked on!

in a few years it will be HER child playing in that area. I wonder how she would feel!!.. I am so thinking of reporting her if i see it again...
