Grrrr! What is it with men and cams?!

I was just told that I was rude on MSN Messenger because of my reply to someone asking me to turn on my cam!

He asked me to turn it on and I said, "No, I've just woke up."
He says, "I like natural women."
I say, "I'm not turning it on. I'm not here for your entertainment."
Then the bastard wants to tell me I am rude!! WTF?! I think it's rude to ask me to turn it on!! I don't even know this guy!

I know I am not the only female to have this problem. I just get so damn sick of getting asked. It takes me a bit of time to get to know someone before I go broadcasting my face live across the net. I just want to kick something right now!

I've had instances, before I learnt to hide the fact I have one, that when talking to someone they would send me a cam request without even asking first and yeah you say no and they do get stroppy, especially the ones who don't have a cam themselves

Well, I hate lying and saying that I don't have one. I'd rather just be "rude" and say what I said. This jackass didn't even have a pic up. Pfft! Idiots!

i am always suspicious of cam requests... although i do have one, i generally only use it when i talk to family and friends.. (despite what G tells u! lol)


but at the end of the day u have the power to switch it off and block if u have a close encounter like the one above! lol

I have a cam, but do not show that I have one. I have had cam requests, but not usually for the funky stuff - most people just wanna watch me play guitar. As far as chat rooms go, anymore they are full of bots, or pervs looking for "any hot ladies". There are way more sick guys out there than sick women, and the sick women or I guess the really lonely women, park their ID in a room and let the guys come to them through PM. I have a handful that I chat with, but it's a same time, same place, same company kinda thing - no cams, no PMs no BS.

I will turn my cam on for someone that I know, but if that's the first thing they wanna see, then the conversation is over. Getting the once over by a total stranger that might not even be who or what they claim to be, is just too creepy for me. Not really even worth a reply - ignore/block
